Free Donuts Today ~ National Donut Day!

It's here! The day you've been waiting for all year long! Or maybe not.

But if you like donuts, today is your day. It's National Donut Day! My single serving homemade donut recipe was a hit and definitely a way to cut some calories.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the post, you can see why I refuse to spell donut the other way. You could also just read Donut Planet, an article tracing the history of the donut.

Whatever your donut spelling preference, the most important thing is that donuts exist and they are sweet and good.

Time has an article telling you where to get free donuts today. Click on over and find out!

Also, if you need to assuage your guilt, find out what common foods have even more sugar than a Krispy Kreme donut. Either way, if you're eating a donut to celebrate the day, enjoy it!
