My Favorite Weekend Breakfast

The Berry Breakfast Cobbler that I discovered early this summer is officially one of my favorite breakfasts ever! I eat it warm with vanilla almond milk over it. So good!

I've had so much fun playing with this recipe and have made it just about every weekend for the past month. Since blueberry season is over, the sales have gone away too, so I don't have any in the house. I did have some pears that had seen better days and decided to use them.

The staple ingredient for this breakfast cobbler so far has been the cranberries. Since it's cranberry season in Massachusetts, it makes even more sense to be using them now. Actually I need to buy some more!

The tart cranberries paired very well with the sweet pears. A winning and tasty combination that I highly recommend!

Have a great wonderfully love-filled weekend!

That looks just delicious!!!

I stopped by your blog today to look at your single serving recipes. I really wanted to get a slice of cheesecake for my birthday, but seeing that one slice is more than a day's work of calories, I'm trying to find a healthier option for this unhealthy treat!

campbele - Happy Birthday Edi! I hope you have an awesome day! I saw your tweet before this comment and mentioned the donuts recipe, which I really like. The shortbread is a good one too. I like all of them, so it's kind of hard to choose. None of them are super low calorie, but the key is that there is portion control. Everyone deserves a sweet treat for their birthday, so I hope that you pick whatever you like best and just go for it!
