What's Black And White And Red All Over?

You've heard the riddle before. Well, the old answer is a good newspaper, but I'm hoping the new answer is my latest And Razzleberry Dressing recipe on BoomerGirl.

Check here for my recipe for Black & White Cookies. Plus, get the story behind the Sneak Peek picture to the left and find out more about the Blogher Conference.

*Updated 11/19/2012* Unfortunately the BoomerGirl website with my old posts and recipes is no longer available. But I have added a link to information about the 2007 BlogHer Conference above and you can read more about my visit to Chicago here.

Ooooh! This reminds me of one of my favorite Seinfeld episodes: "Look to the cookie, Elaine! Look to the cookie!" LOL.

Those cookies look DELICIOUS! Incidentally the black and white cookie reminds me of the Seinfeld episode of Chocolate Babka.
You will make a baker of me yet... I love B & W cookies, and your photo is great. My husband looked over my shoulder as I was reading and said, "ooh, make those!" So glad that your new BlogHer friendships are proving so generous and true.

i LOVE black and whites... we don't get these at all in the south and i was so excited about stuffing myself with them in the city... now i can make them myself as a little pre-moving treat! :)
ohhh wanted to tell you too that i am shipping my last 2 boxes today and i was going to put the soap/ bags from the shop in them... did you want to wait on your soap or should i ship it before i move? (might be 1 1/2 weeks otherwise) thanks lady!

Those cookies look too good to eat. I really loved the story! Being a parent blogger, I need to constantly remind myself about the large amount of food, reviews, techie and other blogs out there. It is easy to get wrapped up in your own inner circle and forget there is a world out there in the blogsphere just like in the real world!

Thanks for the reminder! I hope to go to BlogHer next year so I can really see the extent of interests women bloggers are involved in. And to meet other bloggers like you ;)

MY WIFE calls them Half-Moon Cookies and they are her favorite treat from the bakery. I'll have to try whipping up a batch of yours to really surprise her!

asha - Thanks! I came up with the name "And Razzleberry Dressing" for my BoomerGirl food blog from the song in "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol." Me and my brother loved that Christmas special when we were kids and used to love to sing that line. There is actually no real razzleberry. It's a combination of raspberries and blackberries usually in desserts.

tera - LOL! ; )

ramya - Welcome and thank you for stopping by! I'm glad you like my blog. I hope to see you here again! And let me know if you try the cookies! ; )

nina - That would be kind of cool to be a baker for hire. I wonder if anyone would pay me good money to come to their house for a few hours and bake for them!

nancy - LOL! I remember the episode and immediately thought of it too! I had planned to try to work it into the post, but it didn't happen.

mizrepresent - Thank you! ; )

sai - Me too! And I remember the babka part! I actually have my own babka story. That might make a good post... Seinfeld really has influenced my cooking!

bipolarlawyercook - LOL! That is hilarious! I hope you try them and do a post! ; )

amisha - I hope you got to make them! And I sent you an email about the soap!

momish - Thank you! It is a big blog world out there! Wow, Blogher08! I wonder where it will be? I'm looking forward to it and hope to meet you too!

suldog - Did you make them? That would be a great surprsise. And a penguin falling down a flight of stairs! LOL! Oh, so sad! : (

mosilager - LOL! I guess that would be right too! I hope you are feeling better and have some lucky days ahead!

jac - LOL! : )

well, tomorrow i'll be whipping up a batch of veggie soup - not as much fun as cookies, but i've been yearning for a tomatoe-based veggie soup and this will be my first time trying it! usually i cook bean soups:-)

oooh, suldog cooks for his wife? wow - i want a husband like THAT!

lotus reads - Let me know if you try them!

capcity - I'm planning to make some soup too! It's been rather chilly lately and I have some frozen soup stocks that I can use.

Suldog hasn't told us if he made the cookies! Well??? ; )

No, Anali, I have to be honest and say that I didn't make the cookies yet. I will, though, I guarantee it.

And, CapCity? I do almost all of the cooking at our house. Quite a few of my male ancestors were cooks and chefs, so it's kind of in the blood. It's one of my joys. I'm taken, though. Sorry!
