Lazy Days of Summer

The weather is getting warm again finally. Balmy breezes are blowing and being in the office is getting harder. I read an interesting article in The Christian Science Monitor about vacation time.

At my current job, I work on a contract basis and I have all the flexibility in the world in terms of time, but I have not had any paid vacation days. I will finally earn one weeks pay in about three weeks. So sad. At my last job, I had four weeks paid vacation and I always took the time.

I can either take the money OR the time. It would be nice to loll about for a few days, but I could definitely use the money too. What to do??!! I didn't take a vacation last year. Any thoughts on the matter?
