The Cookie Monstah Food Truck


Walking through Dewey Square to South Station tonight, I noticed several new food trucks.  One of them in particular caught my eye. The Cookie Monstah truck! They sell cookies!

The double chocolate was so good! If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you might have seen my excitement. You can even have them make you an ice cream sandwich out of the cookies!

I'm still all about the cupcakes, and have another cupcake post coming up for you soon. But these cookies are not going to sit idly by while the spotlight shines only on the cupcake. The cookie will not be forgotten and demands some attention too!

While I was there, I noticed a lot of interest. The Cookie Monstah Truck may already be giving at least one cupcake truck a little competition. It was right next to Kickass Cupcakes and things looked a little slow over there.

There has been much speculation about what dessert would topple the cupcake from its glory. Some said it would be the pie. Maybe we were too quick to overlook the cookie.

Hi Lisa -- love the name of this company! I also love the fact they'll make you an ice cream sandwich with their cookies, what a great idea. And while pie might topple the cupcake, I kind of doubt it mainly because the cupcake is portable, you can eat it without a fork and it's not particularly messy.

chris - Me too! I had to laugh when I saw it. I'll have to get an ice cream sandwich next time. Maybe next week. I agree about the portability issue. Although hand pies are quite portable too and don't have the frosting issues.
