Patience + Persistence

Growing plants is a lot like life. It takes patience and persistence.

Some days you don't see anything happening. But you keep trying and have faith. Believing in the unseen.

Even though you can't see evidence each day that the plant is growing, you know that under the soil, the roots are doing their thing.

Then one day, out of the blue, you might get some fragrant flowers. Even though it wasn't supposed to happen.

Sometimes the plant seems to be dying. So you do what you can to try and save it.

It seems like your efforts are paying off. Then you're back to square one.

So you keep trying. And try some more.

Because you know that you are capable of making things grow and blossom into something quite beautiful.

*Updated 7/11/11* Sadly, Rani the Ranunculus didn't make it. Sometimes you just have to buy flowers. : )

Nice. I'll be publishing photos of my possible grapefruit tree someday next week, maybe :-)
