Subway Stories - Extreme Makeover

It was back to work today after a very nice Thanksgiving. I'm still in a bit of a turkey stupor, so after I finish this post, I'm going to burn some calories on the treadmill.

I'm starting to get used to the new entrance and exits to the Arlington T Station. There are major renovations happening in the subway, so it looks a bit of a mess now where you get onto the train.

Where you enter an exit now is all new. It's amazing the work that was happening below the surface without most people being aware of it. There is a really long corridor that you have to walk through now. When I first walked through it, it reminded me of The Wizard of Oz, when Dorothy and friends are walking down that long corridor to see the Wizard. No wizard at the end, but I thought this change was worthy of a post just the same.

Hi Anali
Those signs sure remind me
of my good old days in Boston!

I always took the subway...and loved it!
I'm off on a long hike to work off some of our Thanksgiving feast!
Too much food!
And, I ate too much of it!
Have a great day!
