The Simple Beauty of Glass Jars
There are so many different sizes, shapes and colors of glass jars. My inclination is to be the opposite of a pack rat when it comes to most things. But I find excuses to get more glass jars and keep them around for a while.
Especially Bonne Maman jars. When I first saw them, I fell in love with the design. I buy the preserves and jellies, because they are delicious, but there is always another goal too. Reuse!
People have remarked and asked where I got the jars and I tell them to just look in the jelly aisle in their favorite grocery store!
The only work you have to do to get the jar is to eat the contents. It takes as long or as little time as you want and is very tasty work. Then just wash the jar and scrape off the label. It's pretty easy to do and you're being green!
