Single Serving Parisian Style Hot Chocolate ~ For After Snowstorms

No doubt you've heard that the Northeast just got clobbered by snowstorm Hercules. These names get more dramatic each year! There was a lot of snow and we're still having bitter cold, so maybe the drama of Hercules is warranted.

This kind of dramatic cold deserves an equally dramatic drink. Preferably chocolate.

A few days ago, I read an article about local hot chocolate spots around Boston. There are many that I want to try. Then earlier today, I saw a recipe for Parisian Hot Chocolate.

Why not make my own home one of the best local spots around Boston for hot chocolate? It's cheaper and I won't have to venture out into the tundra that I now suddenly live in. I adapted the recipe to make it single serving and made a few additional changes as well.

This hot chocolate is very rich, chocolaty, sweet and creamy. It 's not something to have everyday. Even though it's a drink, it's a dessert too.

On a night when the wind chill is already 10 below zero and dropping, it makes a nice warm-up. Plus it's very quick. I'll definitely be making this again. Hope you'll try it too!

Single Serving Parisian Style Hot Chocolate
