The Seinfeld Food Truck + Hood Ice Cream Sandwiches

The next couple of days are some of the reasons why I love summer in the city. Boston will be brimming with free food!

Apparently today is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day. To celebrate, Hood will be giving out free ice cream sandwiches today at City Hall Plaza from noon to 2pm. This is the perfect excuse to step out of the office for a few minutes and take a break.

Tomorrow brings the Seinfeld Food Truck! The truck has been traveling across the country with Larry Thomas, aka "The Soup Nazi."

Thomas will be giving out free food that was featured on the show. So far the food has included mulligatawny soup, Junior Mints, muffin tops, black-and-white cookies, Twix, and Snapple. Babka would be nice too! I learned to bake it because of this episode.

The truck will be at Harvard Square’s Winthrop Park between noon and 2 pm and the Greenway at Dewey Square from 3 to 4 pm.

See you there!
