All About The Poppies

Over the past few days, I started noticing recipes with poppy seeds. I can't think about poppy seeds without thinking about the beautiful flowers.

Who can forget the famous poppy field scene in the Wizard of Oz? Or the episode of Seinfeld when Elaine is accused of being addicted to opium, because she keeps testing positive for opiates. It was the poppy seeds!

From what I've read, it is quite possible to get a false positive on a drug test from eating poppy seeds. So just to be sure, if you might have to take a drug test, you might want to pass on the poppy seeds for a few days.
