Free Food & Celebrity Chefs @ Prudential Center Plaza This Weekend

Via tweet this morning, I learned that one of my favorite chefs, Ming Tsai, is participating in a really fun Boston event today

From 11am to 3pm today, Tsai will be cooking up some of his favorite summer recipes at the Prudential Center Plaza in a food truck.

He's taking part in Macy's Chefs A-Go-Go, a national food truck tour showcasing the Macy’s Culinary Council. I won't be able to make it, but if you're in the area and your hungry, why not stop by?

The truck will also be here tomorrow and Todd English will be cooking up some food from 12-4pm. Take a look at the Facebook page for dates when the truck will stop by a city near you.

The food is free, but any donations received will go to Feeding America, the nation's leading domestic hunger relief charity. Follow the tweets with #MacysChefs and @CulinaryCouncil. Take a look at a behind the scenes photo of the Chef at work!

*Updated 1:00 pm* Sadly, according to this tweet, they ran out of food already. I guess you have to get to these things early. Hopefully there will be a bit more food tomorrow.

Okay. That falls right under, "Call me anything but NOT late for dinner!" So sorry they ran out of food but didn't they expect people to show up? Chef Ramsay would not have allowed this to happen... goodness.

sharlene - I was really surprised to see that happened. I mean Ming Tsai is really famous, so they should have known there'd be a ton of people. If I hadn't had work to do, I would have gone myself. Hopefully today they won't run out!
