Free Knitting + Crochet Lessons For Quincy Kids

Know of any children ages 8-13, who are Quincy residents, and who might be interested in learning to knit or crochet? Are you an adult who'd like to teach kids how to knit or crochet?

A monthly program for children, INTRODUCTION TO KNITTING & CROCHET, is starting on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy, Massachusetts. Basic supplies for the first project will be donated by the Needle Arts Mentoring Program, a project of Helping Hands Foundation, Inc.

To join the class, you must sign up in advance. Register online, call the Children's Room at 617-376-2411, or stop by the library in person.

This sounds like a really fun activity for the kids and the adults too!
