3 Things Thursday: Interesting Combinations

Recently I've been noticing interesting combinations of things that I'd like to try. Here are three places in the Boston area with some unique offerings.
~ The Paint Bar: This new business let's you get together with a group of friends and have a painting party. Get a painting lesson and sip on some wine. Let the alcohol loosen your creative inhibitions and release your inner painter!
~ Dabblers: A combination hobby shop and cafe let's you experiment with all the hobbies that you can imagine: woodworking, visual arts, science and nature, fiber arts, handcrafts, and more. Plus while you're trying out your new hobby, you can have a bit to eat.
~ Sunset Grill & Tap: I'm not a beer drinker at all, but I was intrigued to learn of some very interesting combinations of beer flavors by Shorts Brewery starting March 10th. Look at these dessert inspired combos.
Key Lime Pie - golden ale made w/ limes, graham cracker, marshmallow, and milk sugar.
Carrot Cake - ale made w/ carrots, marshmallow, maple syrup, spices, pecans, and walnuts.
Pineapple Upsidedown - high gravity ale made w/ caramel, brown sugar, milk sugar, and pineapple.
I'm sure they're not as sweet as the real desserts, but I like the sound of them just the same!
