Gingerbread Baking In Progress

The first gingerbread is in the oven! For dessert tomorrow night. Then I'll make a few small ones. To give away.

It's going to be a very simple Christmas. In a few hours I'll pick up my brother and we'll head over to my parent's house. Hopefully It's A Wonderful Life will be showing tonight and we can all watch it together.

G and a family friend will come over tomorrow for dinner. My brother and I will hang out at my parents until Sunday. And hopefully we won't get caught in the snow storm on the way home.

A very slow and simple Christmas. But blessed with family and friends. In a warm house. With good food. So when I think about how so many are struggling, I know that I really do have a wonderful life.
