You Are So In My Head

There are two commercials that are so good, that I cannot help but recognize their brands.

David&Goliath is the advertising agency that created the Kia Sorento commercial. I love the song - How You Like Me Now, by The Heavy. And those cute toys imagining all the fun that life has to offer. I never get sick of this commercial! It's so likeable that I can't help but blog about it! Is that song in your head too?

The other commercial is a more recent one for the Cadillac CTS-V. Another great song - "Lovesick" by Lindstrom featuring Christabelle. I Googled the ad, so I could find the song. Such a nice beat! Cadillac's new ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty got it right. Cause you are so in my head.

I like the commercial with ELO singing "Don't Bring Me Down" in the background. Fell in love with the music when I ended up with a black market copy. Yup. Was taking a court hearing and needed more tape. Ran over to Radio Shack and grabbed a few blank ones from the shelf. Stuck one in the recorder and missed putting pressure on the second button (remember those?) and there was ELO's latest album!!!! Wow. Have loved it, ever since...come visit when you can...

When we watch television, we usually hit the mute button when the commercials come on. But when the cloth monkeys start in, the sound goes back on and we tap our feet and smile. I love it. Glad to know someone else does too.

sharlene - Love that song too! Yes, I do remember pressing those recorder buttons! I used to make so many tapes from the radio. That was a lot of effort, but it was so nice to end up with all your favorite songs in one place without commercials. Sort of like online playlists now. Imagine what will available 10 years from now?

christine - It's such a happy commercial. Can't help but smile. : )
