{Simply Sunday} Helping Haiti
There's not much that I can add to what you already know about the devastation in Haiti.
I found this picture titled Haiti Gonave Island Houses, which shows some of Haiti's beauty. I wanted to focus on this beauty and what we can do to relieve the current suffering.
Most of us already have information about the most popular places to donate, so I'm sharing some other ways to make a difference.
Food bloggers, design bloggers, and others are raising money to help with the relief effort via their blogs. For some of them, all you have to do is leave a comment. On Saffron & Blueberry, you can leave a comment and each comment will raise $10.00.
Her blog post lists other bloggers with similar efforts on their blogs. Many of us have limited funds, so this is a great way to help raise money regardless of how much money we can spare from our budgets. So please comment away!
Please also take a look over at the design blog AphroChic. Many designers have donated items that are being auctioned off to raise money for Haiti. If you have some money to spend and want some cool stuff, this is another way to help.
And lastly, I was on twitter and noticed a tweet by Liz aka Los Angelista. Her friend's family runs a hospital in Haiti called L’Hopital de la Communauté Haitienne or in English, the Haitian Community Hospital. They are overwhelmed with treating victims and desperately need donations. You can donate directly on their website.
Thank you to everyone who comments, donates, or even says a litle prayer. I'm sure that it all helps. I donated via text, left a few comments, and continue to say prayers.

My thoughts and Prayers are going out to them all!
Stopping by from SITS!
tracy - I'm glad that there are so many people helping. Happy Week to you too!
katinka - Welcome! Thanks for the visit and have a good week!
kasey - Thanks for stopping by! It is hard to watch. Sometimes I feel like the news shows too much and it feels disrespectful to watch so much suffering.
thanks for all the links you've provided on your blog about donations.
