How They Have Fallen

Final death spiral

hues of red and gold

bleeding onto earth

last fiery warmth of summer life

soon to be buried by the dead

icy cold white of winter.

I'm thankful for life.

So that I don't send you all falling into a vortex of depression with this poem, click here for a link about NoBloShoeMo for you shoe fanatics.

And I just thought this one was funny, because I can hardly pronounce all these NoBlo things that are happening. A blog called Velveteen Mind has come up with a twist called GoBloMeMoFo, which is deemed to be the lazy blogger's response to NaBloPoMo and you can guest post on her blog.

That might be interesting for next year. I could NOT post for 30 days next November and have guest posts everyday. Hmmmmm. I don't know if I could do it. Maybe a few days....

I can't post every day or READ posts every day. Too much for me.

asha - The colors are wonderful, especially when it's sunny out.

nance - I've definitely gotten behind in my reading doing all this posting. It probably won't happen next year. But at least now I know what it's all about.
