Hot It's Not

This picture is the time and temperature from my Bug. When I first turn the car on, the last temperature reading is still there from when I turned the car off. Depending upon the temperature, it rises or falls. Last night when I got in, it started at 60 degrees and began its rapid descent.

By the time I could think that this might make for an interesting series of photos, the temperature was already down to 53 degrees. And it got much colder than that last night.

Once more, I surrendered to the weather. I took my air conditioner out of my window and put my fan away. I'm in the middle of switching my closet from summer to winter and have clothes strewn about. Some waiting to be taken out of my suitcase, washed and hung in my closet. Others waiting to be put away and not to be seen again until around May. Or maybe February, if I get really lucky and can go someplace warm. I really enjoyed Puerto Rico. That would be nice...

Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was busy but weather here got suddenly cooler! Loved it but still no rain. Our lake has only 65% water!! Severe restrictions and only gets worse because no sign of rain at all this week too!

It is cold and damp here as well...
And my daughter's school for some stupid reason is without heat...Everyone is running around in thick fall jackets indoors...

Yup. Just got back from a rainy, cold week in New Hampshire.

Last weekend, we hit 90. Last night, we're in the 40s. Last year, frost. Gotta love it.
Oh, yes, I remember well the changing of the closets. I loved taking out fall sweaters but not the boots and scarves. Enjoy your week!

asha - It was a good one! I hope you get some rain there soon. I just heard that there's a drought in Atlanta too. I had no idea things were that bad.

pendullum - Welcome! That's crazy that the school had no heat! I hope it's all set now. My office has had air conditioning and fans on during all this cold. I think today there might have been some heat.

suldog - You must have seen some pretty leaves though, hopefully with the rain and all...

nance - Global warming strikes again!

susan - I switched everything. Now I realize how much I need new clothes...
