The Strangest Result Ever

A few months ago, I tried this face recognition software, but it wouldn't work with the picture I used. I tried again today with a new picture and got the strangest result ever. There is only one black person and there were two men. The other man was Bing Crosby! He didn't make it into the collage. How odd is that??

Won Bin is a real cutie. Do I think that because I "look" like him?

Well mine came out with a tie between Denzel Washington and Benjamin Netenyahu??

Go figure...

I'm surprised you are showing your portrait!!

Then there's the face transformer site that will take your picture and turn it into a different race/gender/or art style...

I agree with asha! But you knew that!!!!! Be well, be swell, I am such a fan.....

One picture that I used--a photo booth cam shot-- said I most resembled Winston Churchill! Hahaha!

Those are weird results... I think the face angle is the only similarity...

And I agree with Asha...

:-)

Ohhh, I did that one time, Anali, and they decided I look like Joey Tribbiani (sp?) from "Friends", needless to say I wasn't impressed! ;)

Like Asha says, you are cuter than all those celebrities put together!

Hey Anali:
You look so cute! I love your picture, especially your smile.

Anali..I think you are way cute and love that smile.

I agree with some of the sentiments expressed here about your being teh cute! :)
I am not interested in seeing my celeb look alike.

I am strange that way. ;)

These are only as good as the software written and the faces of celebs fed in. I am not surprised there are not enough black faces there, but I could be wrong here and that would not be the first time it was so.

such a cute picture of you! and yes, deeply bizarre 'look-alikes'... you bear very little resemblance to bing crosby :)

I am struggling to find what the face recognition software used: smile height? space btw eyes? chin to bottom lip ratio? eyebrow arch? I hope it wasn't a security program...just think of how many people it would allow into your home, computer files, business, etc! The results are incredibly diverse! It just proves what we already knew: there's no matching Anali!

Quite odd indeed!

Usually the celebs in the group at least look alike. These selections seem so random.

This kind of stuff is always so fun to do though.

Yeah, I got Halle Berry when I did it. The closest it came was Vishwanathan Anand... at least he's the right gender and nationality!

peter n - Awww thanks! I'm trying to stay warm. Lots of tea and hot chocolate today!

dj black adam - LOL! Well, at least they are both men!

wheresmymind - It's my picture from Boomergirl.com, so it's already out there anyway.

chris - Welcome! I'll have to check it out.

asha - You are too sweet!

karrie - That is really bizarre! How do they come up with these?

vasilisa - Hmmm. Maybe it is the face angle...

lotus reads - I wonder if the company that makes this knows how badly their product works! I guess it does make for interesting conversation though...

sai - Thank you! That's what my mom said! : )

starry nights - Thank you! The mystery is over! : )

sanjay - I've seen so many other people do this on their blogs, so I was curious. And I saw several with black women, so I figured some of those would come up. I guess the whole thing is kind of goofy, but in a fun way!

amisha - Thank you! And I appreciate your not saying that Bing and I look like we were separated at birth!

nance - Their software is pretty flawed. And you're right! I'm an original!

quel - It was fun, but I was hoping to actually look somewhat like someone!

mosilager - Now that is depressing. You look more like Halle Berry than I do!

Hello Anali,

Silly me, I once guessed the name right and saw that recipe and did not even connect the dots. (lol)

Cute picture; I see you are coming out of hiding, actually have been out and old lefty here missed it.

I wonder who I look like, perhaps William Hung from American Idol given some of the results I have seen.

dezel - LOL! So funny! You should try it. Maybe you'll get Bing Crosby too!

Mosilager said...

I think the Nancy Kerrigan was a good match there, and just because I wrote a post saying that I look like Halle Berry I got several visitors looking for people who look like Halle Berry! That is one horrible piece of software, but fun to do.

Anali said...

mosilager - Nancy and I both have very big teeth!

Now I guess I'll get visitors here looking for you too, because they think you look like Halle! I already got a visitor doing a search for Bing Crosby. They must have been very disappointed! : )

Jac said...

I know that you are prettier than any one in that with out seeing you...as, you are my cousin and you are you.

I think that I need to try this.

Anali said...

jac - Thanks cuz! Try it! It's fun!

Ranjit said...

it's more the shape of the eyes I was referring to! At least people looking for Halle Berry will be happy when they see your picture... I'm sure they were extremely unhappy when they saw mine!

Anali said...

ranjit - Different name today Mosilager? : ) Oh the eyes! I guess they are kind of similar.

LOL! It would be interesting if someone searching for HB commented here. We'll see...

Mosilager said...

yes that was my alter ego... sometimes accidentally crops up. all due to the change to the new blogger you see.

Anali said...

mosilager - Ah, I see! The new Blogger strikes again!
