"Consumer Day" in Massachusetts = Free Stuff

I just read an article stating that as settlement of a class action lawsuit, Staples is giving a voucher for $7.50 to the first 1,200 customers at each of their 64 Massachusetts stores.

I just went to Staples a couple of weeks ago and bought a bunch of office supplies, but forgot to get Wite-Out. Now I can get it for free! Plus, I can always use more copy paper. The plan was to get there at 7:00 a.m. when the store opens. Seeing that I'm still blogging and it is 1:00 a.m., I'm not sure that will be happening. It will be interesting to see if there is a long line, bedlam in the aisles... If so, guess who'll be taking pictures?

seems like they are using a lawsuit as a marketing campaign... smart (though kidna fishy)

lol...I'd be impressed if you made it to Staples being up so late ;)

vasilisa - That's what I thought at first, but I read that they were not allowed to promote it except for inside their stores.

wheresmymind - LOL! I got there, but a bit later!

Hello Anali,

Good for you : ) Even though it was a mere $7.50 I wonder if some people visited several stores to obtain multiple vouchers.

dezel - You know I wondered the same thing. I'm sure at least one person did. There's always one...
