It's that time of year again! Please join me in raising awareness and funds for All Aboard The Arc.

With so many children being diagnosed with autism, you may know someone who could benefit from the resources of their local Arc.

With more than 700 national and local chapters, The Arc is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism and acquired brain injury.

Please consider making a donation. Whether large or small, any amount will help and you can help me cross #8 off my life list.

Donations still being accepted after the May 18th event date!

{Places To Visit}

I've compiled a list by name and location of places that I've visited and written about on this blog or somewhere else online. Many of them are food related. For those, I've at the very least sampled some food or wine. Some are just a quick sentence or two about a place. Others are more detailed impressions with pictures. The more places that I visit, the more you'll see listed here.

In this blog, I disclose if I'm writing about something that costs money in general, but I received it for free. An *asterisk often denotes a food blogger event that was paid for by someone other than myself. Most of these were with other bloggers.

For write-ups that are not part of a group or blogger event, the *asterisk indicates a sponsored visit and that my reason for visiting the location was because I was invited by them and/or a public relations firm. It also might be free because I was writing about it for a publication as a freelance writing assignment. Or I may have won a gift certificate or meal in a contest, etc.

If I know that a place that I visited has closed down or changed the name and ownership and I'm not sure how similar it is to when I visited, then it is NOT listed here. I'd like this list to be a relevant resource when you're choosing places to visit.

Hopefully this listing is helpful and will give you some fun ideas for your spare time. Enjoy!
